Aye, I have noticed that, too.
In fact, the greater the beauty, the uglier the words to describe her.

Go figure...

Well she is gorgeous enough to make someone look stupid if they said she is ugly.

I dont like her nose.... Im not saying she is ugly.... just not my type....

i posted originally because i was sickened by reading several mean-spirited posts (here and on another actress' board) that were incredibly unnecessary, cruel, and nasty things for any person to say, anywhere and at any time -- let alone things one would *post*, publicly, about a human being he'd never met.

yes, granted, she's not possessed of a *perfect* nose. and fine, she's not your type: at least you said that without insulting her. perhaps because i think she's a lovely woman -- as measured by almost any reasonable standard you might find in the western world -- to me, those people who call her ugly in public have simply crossed over into "rude-and-stupid-land."

regardless of what one thinks of her beauty, there's just no need to be mean-spirited and cruel. trolls and twits, as i said.

I know, bunch of stupidity. I couldn't stand it on Paris Hilton board, so I left. And it's like that on every kinda famous actor's boards, people have no better things to do apparently. And the 'lists' some make, like 'most ugly', 'worst actors'... it's usually pure rubbish. There is always at least someone I utterly disagree on. I have my least fav people too, but I never made the list, wouldn't want anyone to get hurt, even if my least favs actually did some bad stuff, personally or professionally.

As for Joely, she really is an unique beauty and she shouldn't care what trolls say. Joely has many fans as well, including you and me, and that's what does matter.
