Sending my prayers to him

I am 36 years old and a life long fan. Just heard the news that he has Parkinson. Burt, I wish you well and hope you're doing fine. I greatly admire the courage with which you handled life. Your life inspired me to bigger things in my own life. Brazil loves you, man. Stay safe.

Thanks for letting us know. I have been praying for Burt Reynolds for a while. He seems to have always been a down-to-earth person and as my sister calls him "a true son of the south."

I just wish he finds peace in his life. I truly admired what he did with his life. Jon Voight said, during those 5 years he was the Number One Box Office attraction in the world, he made his decisions based on heart & friendship. Because now I am 36 yeards old, and have a better view of life, I really think its not because of the films I admire him the most, but because the man he is. I will never forget one thing he said "I feel like a man whose house was blown in a hurricane. His possessions are gone, but he's thankful to be alive". I always said that he was the one figure that inspired me the most in life, and wish him well.

Can you please tell us where you heard this news? The only stories on the Internet about this are sleazy, "friends are worried", Enquirer-type articles.

He's obviously not well, but I think we should save our thoughts and prayers for what we know, rather than what is being rumored.

Well, what can I say? Amen to that. I truly hope Burt is feeling great. I read the news on the same articles you mentioned. I just hope it isn't true. I have great respect for him and wish him well.
