film versions of her Broadway performances
They need to capture her greatness on film! A Long Day's Journey Into Night was a critical and financial success! Her performances was hailed as one of, if not the best, performance given that year! Now audiences wouldn't flock to a 6 hr movie, but by all means HBO could pick it up with a mini-series! Keep the same director (I think it was Robert Falls) and have Redgrave and Phillip Seymour Hoffman reprise their roles and I'd throw in Christopher Plummer whose performance of the father is exceptional! It would win so many Emmy's!
Same with Driving Miss Daisy and even The Year of Magical Thinking except make it a film--heck, it would work with audiences given the right director and supporting cast. A small budget and an awards darling at the Oscars-at least for Redgrave!
