Anyhoo...
The Natural
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Jeremiah Johnson
Jeremiah Johnson is my favorite of his, it's so rich in comedy, action and tragedy
The ending is sublime
I love this movie
I'm still going to call the cops😛
I don't understand why people post specific movie questions on the GD thread.
shareI suppose we all do it from time to time because GD has the most traffic and we have a crazy family dynamic going on there
For instance, I can often tell which poster has made an OP before I even open it...we are pretty tight, good people
I'm still going to call the cops😛Snitches get...……..
I have yet to see Three Days of the Condor...sad but true!
Yes, The Sting was great but I went with The Natural instead
Nice to see you NorrinRad;)
Condor is a really good movie. A very straight-forward, tense drama. I forget why the murders are committed in the beginning, but for the most part it's realistic and believable. Took me a long time to get around to it as well. I think it's much better than The Parallax View. That's a bit of a strange one.

Downhill Racer
The Electric Horseman
The Horse Whisperer
The Clearing
A Walk in the Woods
Honorable Mention: Jeremiah Johnson
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Three Days of the Condor
The Natural
Butch is fun but I like when Redford has to carry a movie. I really think Newman is the better actor, so when they are together it kinda shows.
I have mixed feelings about The Natural. I guess since it's a fable I'm supposed to overlook all it's improbabilities. The homemade bat. His elder rookie status. Glenn Close is angelic (?) while Barbara Hershey is a loon. Wilford Brimley always plays the same character, weary, seen-it-all, dispensing hard-won advice. But it's very watchable, so I wouldn't mind seeing it again.
Jeremiah Johnson
The Sting
