He has directed some amazing films, but he's also a master actor who has starred in some of the best films of our time...Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Jeremiah Johnson, The Candidate, The Sting, Three Days of the Condor, All the Presidents Men, The Natural, Out of Africa, All is Lost. I would even consider the rarely seen Downhill Racer as a cult classic. RR is also such a great actor because he's a master of subtlety. Often you can see everything he's feeling and thinking in his face alone.
