Here's why someone would do something that could kill them such as smoking, stress; addiction, pleasure, habit, willpower, social settings and enjoyment. Pick one and go from there.

I hate smoking and never will start but still bender_101 that is offensive. Ok we all know smoking is bad and addiction is terrible but Pete Postlethwaite as a smoker why not as a good actor.
