Scheduled for 2025. It's not like they haven't had 50 years to prepare for this.

Several women have come forward over the years claiming Polanski took advantage of them when they were teens.

Considering how totally remorseless Polanski has been about what he did, I find their stories believable.

Yeah.
He is back in the US and really enjoyed the Lakers game so much he wants to see another one with those courtside seats.

He won't actually show up to court, but the case will. I'm guessing it will be worse for him.

According to the original prosecutor, Roger Gunson, he was punished more than the law allowed. He even stated the judge overstepped both the sentencing guidelines, and what the family wanted. According to Gunson he served all the time that was asked and the judge was going to sentence him to 50 years, against the guidelines. The judge was also going to personally have him deported, which Gunson pointed out to the judge was not within his purview as a judge to do. Gunson also filed a brief with the court to have Rittenband removed from the case and censured.

I don't doubt it. The justice system is messed up in pretty much every country.

It was Nicholson's house, but he wasn't in town. Anjelica Huston, who Nicholson was dating at the time, saw Polanski and the little girl at the house and said she didn't think anything of it until the next day.
