We live next door to the Polanskis in Paris and Roman has offered to come over and babysit our daughters at the weekend. The wife isn't sure about it but we don't get the chance of night out very often so I said we should go for it. What would you do?

Well, I am not a neighbor who lives in Paris. He dosen't know me and I certainly don't know him. He's a high priced director! Other than a few of the movies I have seen that he has directed, I can only say that I enjoy his work. I personally doubt that he would come all the way to Wisconsin and allow me the Neighbor's Rate for babysitting services.

That happened just last week, my partner and I had a table booked at a new restaurant for our first night out in ages, we left our young daughter at home with Mr Polanski who was only too happy to babysit just for a couple of hours.
The next day, when I asked my daughter how it went she said "Old Roman, he was a bit ropey!"
I laughed until days later it dawned upon me that she may have said "Old Roman, he was a bit rapey!"
