It was Luke's suggestion to break up Brenda and Dylan in 90210...

I bought the season 3 DVD pack of 90210 and watched the season finale with the commentary one. The executive producer Chuck Rosin was commenting on the season finale and he mentioned that at the end of each season, he brought the cast in one at a time to see if they have any suggestions and to find out what they would like to see.

He said at the end of Season 2, Luke came in and said that he thought it would be cool for Dylan to get involved with Kelly. Chuck spoke with the writers and other producers and everyone went for it so they made it happenen.

The long term goal was to get Dylan back together with Brenda but I assume because Shannen Doherty left the show, it never happened.

I just thought that was kind of interesting. I never had heard that.

Yeah, it debunked some pre-teen fantasies. But I also like workplaces with some change. Too much routine makes anything boring.

Plus, it's nice that the executive producer solicited cast imput into the plot. Some workplaces don't don't want to hear anything from their employees. It's do everything your boss wants exactly how they want, or else get labeled as a bad employee--and released.

I attempted to work for a company like that, and it was not at all a pleasant experience.

Since Shannen and Luke were getting along, maybe Brenda and Dylan were supposed to reconcile and get back together.

Did Luke and Shannen get along? I always wondered if they did or if everyone on the show had a problem with her.

At least on the show, they looked like they did.

And according to the 'insider parody' Grosse Pointe, they had some workplace rough spots, but generally got along with each other.

I mean, nobody completely gets along with their co-workers every single day, so why should they?

Im prtty sure they did and Shannen got alonf with Jason Priestly too their still friends and I thought she said the her and luke were too in some interview with her but not 100 percent!

Only one person didn't get along with Shannen is Jennie Garth. What's happened beteen them on the set? I use to watch Beverly Hills, 90210 when Shannen was on then I quit watch when she left.

My shippers are: Sara/Nick, Grissom/Sara, Grissom/Catherine, Catherine/Nick, Greg/Sofia.

Tori Spelling didn't get along with her either, toward the end. And Ian Ziering was tired of her too, if I remember right.
