maybe i want to express my honest thoughts about SJP because she has been paraded as being 'super hot' on telly and i want to make sure that it's not just me who's 100% repulsed by her appearance.

i agree she has some beautiful features, and a great body (although worryingly thin). but there is also something very manly about her face that is a complete turn off.

those adverts for sex and the city where SJP is behaving in an alluring and seductive manner make me feel so uncomfortable. it's kinda like the same feeling as one of those bizzare erotic dreams about something completely inappropriate that make you feel sick and disturbed the following day.

Sure, you are allowed your own personal opinion, but that would be like me (a straight male) commenting on the best male-male love scenes.

Seriously? Men who are comfortable with their masculinity should have no problem complimenting another guys looks. Women compliment other women all the time. Seems to me your question about a gay man's opinion about a woman's sexiness is a bit outdated. Whether you believe it or not, although I am gay, I know the type of woman I would be attracted to if I were straight. It's not that hard to imagine and understand. Just cause I don't have a desire to have sex with her, doesn't mean I can't find her sexy.

You said some overlooked kindnesses - not that SJP is beautiful; we each have our own beauty, but that it's rather pointless to condemn based on subjective ideas. And sexy goes beyond face for sure. Natural and soulful are much nicer.

You have some decent looking women on your list. Despite obvious and multiple plastic surgery procedures, Michelle Pfeiffer and Janet Jackson are attractive. As much as I dislike Lopez, I'll admit she's pretty. Olivia Newton John is / was very cute in her heyday. Not sure about now. It's been ages since I've seen her.

However, Aniston and Parker do not belong near any most beautiful list, in my opinion. There is a reason people refer to the former as "Traniston" (her facial features / jawline are extremely masculine, she has beady little eyes, leathery overtanned skin and does somewhat resemble a transvestite) and I fail to see what's attractive about Parker AT ALL. At least Aniston has a nice body whereas Parker just looks like she spent a few months at a concentration camp. Parker's face is very long, thin and (as other noted) horse-like, she has a big nose and her hands look like they belong on The Crypt Keeper! I see dozens of better looking "common" women every single day at the gas station or grocery store.

A gay man can not be trusted to give an adequate rating (say out of 10) on a woman. I'm sorry, but it's true.
It's like when you're talking about cars, and then some dude who obviously knows nothing about cars tries to join in.

Also, as a side note, it's kind of funny that as a gay man, you know you would be attracted to Sarah Jessica Parker.. one of the most mannish looking women around!

I've got to agree with your observations and, as I've stated elsewhere, SJP would be more warmly received if the powers that be would stop trying to convince the world populus that she's the most beautiful creature ever to walk on two legs.
