Why do people hate on her/her looks so much?

The only reason I can think of is because she's typically cast in the "pretty girl" roles when she's really quite average/unconventional looking and people have major issues with that. Or is it because she's achieved so much fame despite her ordinary looks? I find her to be moderately talented, and no, she's not stunningly beautiful at all, but people are acting like she's horrifically ugly when she's really just average. I just don't get the level of hate she gets. There are way more irritating/unattractive celebrities out there, IMO.

She bears a striking resemblance to a horse. Perhaps that is why.

She looks quite a bit like Lesley Gore.

She has a very unconventional beauty and I think that unnerves the haters. She goes against conventional norms of what is beautiful and what's not. I think she's a very pretty woman who always seems nice and well put together and so hating on her is just ridiculous.

What is with the anti SJP people? They're like a pathetic virus all over The Net.

It's easy to be so judgmental of someone's looks when you don't have to add a picture to your posts.

I would say that the majority are crude, entitled teenagers, who feel that NO woman has the right to ignore them. Imagine their outrage at a TELEVISION PROGRAM that shows women in jobs of prestige and power. Jobs in a City where the emphasis is on the latest Designer Handbag and Airbrush Makeup.

Imagine their dismay at all the plain women who pass them by. women with irregular features, bad hair days and, as SJP has, a thin, bony face and large chin.

SJP's "Carrie Bradshaw" taught us about other things that matter: things like Vibrant personalities, Beautiful eyes and Kind Hearts.

To all the "Nay Sayers"... You'd better hurry up, and get your inflatable Pamela Anderson dolls...because Ms. "BUTTERFACE" has BETTER things to do.

I don't think she's beautiful, but the whole 'ha ha, she looks like a horse' thing is overblown, to say nothing of tired.
