Good comeback movies

I'm so happy for her with her new career move - her three next movies are high profile movies and in two of them she's working with two superb directors, Steven Soderbergh and David Fincher.

I was pretty surprised that after her performance in Legends of the Fall, First Knight and Sabrina, she turn her back from Hollywood and perform in two low profile movies, Smilla's Sense of Snow and The Barber of Siberia (which are not bad movies, but still unheard of). I always thought her acting was good even though her roles are not too challenging, and makes the movie in a whole became more compelling and engaging, i.e First Knight and Sabrina.

Ok, the Lindsay Lohan vehicle might be good or bad; LL's movies was contradictory: Mean Girls was superb while Just My Luck was awful. But I have high hopes with the other two movies, Guerilla and Benjamin Button, which reunites Julia with Brad Pitt. Although it appears that her roles is only supporting, nonetheless this will become her stepping stone into getting bigger and meatier roles just like the 1994-1995 era.

So.. good luck to Julia!
