First, a Happy Birthday to you, Liam! Second, I was so saddened that his wife died back in 2009. :( I imagine he'll never get over that. Natasha was quite young when she died and I'm sure they would have had many more years together if not for that skiing accident.

shareHer death makes me wonder why every ski hill doesn't make helmets mandatory. A representative at one ski hill merely said "it's good idea" to wear a helmet! Geez! That's like saying it's a good idea not to drop your baby on its head.
And it makes a good case for going to the ER for a bump on the head even if you think you may be over-reacting.
My aunt took a bad fall at work, hit her head on cement. She thought she was fine but then later started feeling really badly. She was brought to the hospital and had emergency surgery to relieve the bleeding/swelling on her brain. She was the only patient in head injury ward who survived, if I recall. Close call.
