She was never a good singer and her voice hasn't aged well, she was a fun performer at best.
I want her to shut up and give another performance like she did in "Ruthless People", I forgave her a lot because of that one film!
What could you possibly have forgiven her for 35 years ago when Ruthless People came out? Getting her start performing in gay bathhouses?

shareDivine Madness is a concert film and widely regarded by critics, so you wouldn't mean that one. You could be talking about Jinxed! Which was a flop with critics and audirnces. You'd better not be talking about Down and Out in Beverly Hills because that's an enjoyable Paul Mazursky film. Ruthless People was a hit and drew critical praise. Outrageous Fortune wasn't the critics' favorite but I think it was a mild hit. Big Business with Lily Tomlin is fairly enjoyable as a high concept bit of 80s fluff. Beaches was largely laughed at by crtics but became a hit with women and raving queens. Any others I might have missed?
