I feel for his younger children

I think he is a wonderful actor but alittle too old to be a father again at this late age. I know men in their 60's, 70's etc can have children but should they just because they can? It's sad when anyone, actor or jo schmo dies at an old age and leaves very young children behind. It's not fair to the kids. Malcolm is not the only one, I just saw a pick of Larry King with his wife and young children. As a parent, I wanted to watch my children grow up, play games with them, graduate, get married, have children of their own and I have been blessed to be able to do these things. If I was 60 when I wanted to start a family or add to my family, I'd just get a dog.

Very good point, I myself also feel strongly about guys at Malcolm's age having children, indeed there isn't a law against it but like what you said in your post, the thought of the parent dieing and leaving a child behind is just sad.

Now silent bob!-Brodie bruce, mallrats

Yeah what the guy above me said.

I agree with all the above statements. It has always bothered me to hear about older celebrities fathering children... however, I bet those children would be so pampered and spoiled rotten, all they would care about is access to a pretty penny of inheritance once they reach 18 years of age.

I think you guys are being too judgmental as it relates to Malcom MacDowell. He's probably in his 60's. He is very active and looks great for his age. he is not overweight. There is no reason to believe that he can't live another 20-30 years. His kids might not grow into upper middle age with him around, but 25 years is no so bad. I'm sure he can show them plenty of good times and regale them with many a story in that amount of time.

No not really, just being logical. Their right, he's too old to be having more children.

I agree, let's put it this way his much older children are now in their 30s, and old enough to be those other kids parents, and Malcolm is old enough to be their grampa..weird if you ask me.
