I just saw this movie and is the first Andrew McCarthy movie I saw. It was utterly cliched and Andrew's performance is pretty flat with his low-key acting skill. However, I find him pretty good-looking and is more or less charismatic. It is a wonder why he was never a big star, when we have irritating actors like Ben Affleck and Freddie Prinze Jr. nowadays.

I thought he did a good job, but that the subject matter which I guess was so 'hot' back then is just a little dated and boring nowadays.

Andrew McCarthy was a big star like Affleck IN THE 80s!!!!!

plus, I think he does a lot of plays instead of movies.

He was a huge star in the 1980s.
