The Brat Pack - What films???

Does anyone know exactly what films comprise the "Brat Pack" movies of the mid 1980's?

I know they featured a combination of actors such as Emilio Estevez, Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, Anthony Michael Hall, Andrew McCarthy & Robert Downey Jr.

I am assuming the following 5 films are included but are there others?

Sixteen Candles (1984)
The Breakfast Club (1985)
St Elmos Fire (1985)
Pretty In Pink (1986)
Less Than Zero (1987)

HELP???

Not exactly bonafide rat pack movies since you've listed the quintessentials, but here are some worthy contenders.

Weird Science, Can't buy me Love, Some kind of Wonderful w/ Eric Stoltz (wasn't he one of them?).

There are so many great films during that era, especially compared to the utter crap that's produced today. I wish Marty McFly would take me back with him on one of his journeys.

sigh.

Yeah, you got it basically right.
The Brat Pack was born after St Elmo's Fire was released. Even though 16 Candles was released one year earlier...The term surfaced for the actors who played in SEF. So, Judd Nelson, Andrew McCarthy, Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Ally Sheedy and Mare Winningham were the original members...but While Molly Ringwald wasn't in SEF, she's often regarded as the Brat Pack Queen. Robert Downey Jr, Emilio Estevez, James Spader, and Anthony Michael Hall often have been called Honorary Members of the Brat Pack... However, the most Popular Actor who didn't qualify for Brat Pack recognition John Cusack (even though he was in Sixteen Candles.) But who keeping tabs on this sort of thing?

Emilio Estevez was also in SEF.

Although she was in St.Elmo's Fire, I never considered Mare Winningham a member of the Brat Pack. Good actress, but....really not part of it.
I would definitely include Anthony Michael Hall and Molly as originals.
Brilliant actor, but I wouldn't include Robert Downey Jr.
or even James Spader. If you include Spader you'd also have to include Jon Cryer, Jami Gertz and a host of others.
I'm not so sure they would consider the Brat pack thing an honor anyway. I know Demi didn't and a lot of them were upset by the label given to them.
