Her Glorious 'ER' Hair

I know it's a wig, but her hair on "The Good Wife" doesn't suit her at all. She was gorgeous with the curly hair on ER- it had so much energy and was so vibrant. I understand it's not as fashionable right now but when it suits you best you run with it.

It's not a wig. Her hair is just flat ironed. Alicia is a buttoned up character, so wild curls don't fit her. Also, many people don't consider curly hair professional. Silly, but true.

It is a wig and always has been. She says It's quite a pain having it on through all those days of shooting TGW

IMO, I think she looks better than ever now. Straight hair and eyebrow waxing/threading do wonders for her look. Never found her sexy on ER.

'Sexy'? Not the first thing on my mind (maybe the second). 'To die for' comes first.

The woman of my dreams (whom I happen to have married for 25 years now) doesn't need to wax her eyebrows to get my total attention.

Besides, both Carol and Doug went on to have splendid actor's careers outside of the soap-opera. That's because they are not just 'sexy', but also multi-talented, intelligent, witty, and serious. This distinguishes them from Greene, Carter, Kerry, and the lot, whom we have hardly heard of since.

You're welcome to your opinion. After all, not everyone will be everyone's cup of tea.

However, my philosophy on that is that it's best to stay closer to your natural beauty rather than changing to another style. There are plenty of straight-haired, thin-browed women out there. Not enough curly-haired sultry-eyebrowed beauties remain unblemished. I wouldn't expect the likes of Charlize Theron to darken and curl their hair and apply fake eyebrows to suit my tastes any more than I think Julianna should neuter her features to suit yours.

LOL.... I had to laugh when I saw your title! "Glorious" to describe her hair. What's amusing is that it's EXACTLY how I might have worded it! I had to even do a quick check to see if it was a post of mine which I'd forgotten.

Anyway, I, of course, completely agree. Her long, sensuous, full, curly hair made her look like a goddess from Greek Mythology, IMHO. This new 'do' is quite lackluster, as is her current direction of makeup, plucking and surgery. It's not age so much as her stylistic choices.

She once had legendary beauty.

It is true I have naturally curly hair and was told by a woman named Triffy ...of all things... that it was unkempt looking.
My hair was shiny and healthy just curly
