I'll never understand why ...

... but I'm finding William H. Macy sexy these days. I know it's not the oh-so-white-bread looks, and I usually wouldn't think twice about a redhead, so maybe it's the sheer ENORMITY of his talent. I respect him so much it makes him attractive in an oddball way and very appealing emotionally. I don't watch Shameless, in which it seems (from the bits I've seen) he plays a slacker in a sad/bad/funny way. I should probably start watching it -- sounds like a role I'd like to see him play. The character he plays in The Cooler (possibly the ultimate definition of a WHMacy loser role) is so tender that I just want to hug him to death. Any similar feelings out there?
