Off Camera with Sam Jones interview
Macy was on this show recently and I was shocked at a big time actor like him completly trashing someone else's movie. He was talking about how films need to be "true", whatever that means, but then went off on a tirade about how the movie Time Kill was a pile of excrement.
Asking who could excuse cold-blooded murder, even if you feel for the Samuel Jackson character, but he kills the two guys he thought raped his daughter before they were even charged. Then, he gets acquitted and goes to a picnic with the prosecutor. He did not hold back trashing that film. Pretty refreshing to see an actor of his stature not being afraid to do that.
