Just threw my Seinfeld DVDs in the trash!

Felt pretty good.
(I apologize for ever purchasing Seinfeld DVDs. They've sat on the shelf unwatched for 5+ years.)

reply

Sony and Seinfeld already got your money so I doubt they care about what you do with your property. If someone's political beliefs make you act with such fragility then you need to reevaluate your entertainment consumption.

reply

They won't be getting any of my money in the future, that's the moral point. (Also: Federal Reserve Bucks are about to be worthless.)

reply

they only get money off DVD when you buy them, not when you play them. Not buying the DVDs would have been the moral point. You're not too smart

reply

You said you haven't watched them in 5 years. Doesn't sound like you were going to be giving them more money anyways. They make their money on streaming anyways.

reply

Huh? Why would you do that?
You know you can sell them, or even give them to your local library.
Many years ago I realizes that digital media was going to be so ubiquitous
that having hardware copies would just be a liability, taking up space and
wasting time managing.

reply

throwing them in the trash is bad for the environment. Petroleum based plastic will sit in a landfill forever.

reply

why?

reply

She still got the royalties and you harmed the environment. Stellar move.
