If you think Irons was 'misinterpreted,'...

...He said he had a "problem" with marriage equality. He said he "worries a lot" about marriage equality consequences (as he sees them.) He then talks about relationships with dogs.

I LOLed at that jab by the interviewer at the end. At least Jeremy had the good grace to take it in stride. And hopefully also realize how dumb he sounded moments before.

Jeremy Irons might be a doofus. But no, let's accuse him of being a terrible human being.

Seriously who gives a *beep* Yeah I can see why you'd be so sensitive if you were gay or had gay friends but seriously, this guys job is to be an actor. There are politicians running this country who actually have the power to take away your rights so stop complaining about what Jeremy Irons's opinion of gay marriage is. He has the rights to be against it. We have the rights to choose a side so leave the man alone.

He has a right to his opinion and the balls to verbalize it. Anyone trying to silence or censure an opinion must be scared of the intellectual weaknesses of their own.
