Too bad he couldn't have been like Anthony Hopkins, conquered his addiction (Hopkins' was to alcohol), and been an even greater actor than before. Hopkins didn't really bloom until he kicked the bottle. It's sad. Like Robert Pastorelli, another brilliant actor who gave himself a hotshot. Tragic.
