Wow..None of Her Three Kids Have The Same Father
If she weren't a Hollywood actress, she'd be labeled a "baby momma". Amazing how certain things get glorified.
Excuse me--ya'll lookin' for a dead body??

shareMy grandmother had 3 different husbands & children with each. The first 2 died during ww2 & the last died of cancer. She is not a slut because she married after being widdowed.
shareTo be fair, having two husbands and children with each in a six year period while a war was going on does not exactly make her a nun either.

It wasn't 3 husbands in a 6 year period, only the first 2 was during the war & died during the war. The last one came after & eventually died of cancer.
The age difference between the first & 2nd kid from different husbands is 8 years. So it took her some time before she remarried her 2nd husband. Also, I don't think it's prudent to judge a single widowed woman during ww2 in the Philippines about remarrying to provide for herself & her child. The US entered the war much later & the war was far from you. Whereas in the Philippines, young boys & young men disappeared & taken by the Japanese into a camp to be tortured. I imagine many mothers feared for their children & their survival.

I did say two husbands, not three, in six years.
I am sorry for what your grandmother had to go through but I was not judging her in the sense that I was questioning her morals. I was only pointing out that, given the limited information you provided, she was not entirely innocent (for lack of a better word).
By the way, I am not from the U.S. and I had a number of relatives who fought and died in WW2.
