No-one's bashing Hugh Grant. He's a straight rich and famous white male liberal who slams the right people these days (i.e. the Tories and the media). The world gush over these people.
Now, admittedly, I'm *most* of these things (i.e. straight, white, male and liberal, and I occasionally slam the right people) but, crucially, I'm not rich and famous, which is the *most* important ingredient, and, unlike Grant, I don't perpetually bash the *same* easy targets again-and-again, but sometimes put myself in the firing line by, *shock horror*, occasionally going after 'controversial' targets like, *shock horror*, fellow liberals. 😲
Straight white male liberals who trot out the same PC/'woke' rhetoric get the easiest ride in life (look at the likes of Joe Biden, Chris Evans and even Bill 'uncancellable despite being a prolific SEX OFFENDER' Clinton). Heck, as much as I like Hugh Grant, we all seem to have collectively forgotten that he once cheated on Liz Hurley with a sex worker!
As a *genuine* feminist (not a celebrity faux-feminist who says the right things, but doesn't actually, you know, fucking do them), I'm still appalled at the EXPLOITATION of a Black sex worker by a straight white man, but hey, like I say, straight white male libs can get away with all kinds of shit.
