John Goodman vs John Candy

Course they're VASTLY different actors but the debate rages on. Sorry this isn't linked, but it's a couple of dudes debating whose better, it's obviously a web show, but it's funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH1XvzDLo80&list=UUk8aYrbp52mGZB7Gyp0cgGQ&index=1&feature=plcp

***So I've seen 4 movies/wk in theatre for a 1/4 century, call me crazy?**

Apples and oranges imo, Candy having died more than 18 years ago. John has done a lot of his best stuff during that time and has been lucky enough to play a range that Candy did not (in part due to the Coens). Candy always seemed to be stuck in parts as either the clown or the loser, but I think based on some of his performances that there was a lot more to his talent.

I like them both.

John Goodman was great in "Roseanne", "Punchline", "Argo", and "The Artist".

John Candy was great in "Volunteers", "Home Alone", "The Great Outdoors", and "Canadian Bacon".

I'm probably forgetting some movies starring each actor.
