NO OSCAR NOMINATION?!
That is unacceptable! John Goodman is a great actor! He should of at LEAST been nominated at one point, if not won!

Lerner took his Barton Fink Oscar. Lebowski was pretty much ignored until it went cult. several others were nominatable, like Monuments Men, but he was overlooked because politics. At least he has appeared in Oscar nom'd/winning movies, plus had just finished the Monsters Inc song with Randy Newman when it was announced as winner. He was shown geeked out in the wings just off stage. Not sure why he didn't come back out?
tbh, I don't see him getting one, except for the career acknowledgement, likely posthumously. AV Club just had a double list of actors who won for the wrong movies, bumping others off their wins, rolling back to a later Oscar, cycle repeats.
