Crispin Glover allegedly made all this noise because the ending of Back to the Future is basically about how money = happiness. Marty comes back to 1985 and has a nice new truck, and his Dad' s a wealthy author etc..

Then he co-stars in Hot Tub Time Machine, where the characters all end up with thriving careers and nice houses at the end, thanks to time-travel..

What gives?

Sorry, I totally was thinking of thinking of Eric Stoltz in my original response, which I deleted.

I think with Crispin Glover, he wanted too much money, so they decided to use a mask on a new actor and flip him upside down in BTTF 2. That's probably why he's negative about BTTF.
