The Joker

So can someone get the ball rolling and start showing some serious support for Glover to play the next Joker?

He looks like the joker and I feel it would be a waste not to see him in full joker costume doing the Ultimate role. Of all the actors to play the joker, I think Crispen would play the joker as he was in the comics better than anyone.

Call WB, call Crispen, call Nolan (he'll probably consult the director with good ideas), I don't care. Someone has to at least get this guy a shot at the role. He's not getting any younger, and his age right now might suit the Joker.

To further my point, this particular scene from Willard comes to mind.

The cane, the grin, the maniacal voice, the anger and internal torment. All he needed was to laugh maniacally but we all know he can do that.

Pause during the cut at 0:25 and look at his face. He IS the joker, just without the make-up.

I am not a particularly big fan of the Batman franchise, although I have fond recollections of the one from the late 1980s with Jack Nicholson, which was one of the first movies I ever saw in my life. However I would love to see Crispin Glover play the role of The Joker or any other significant role in such a film. It is a tragedy how underused he is considering the fact that he is perhaps the greatest actor alive today and perfectly suited for so many roles. It simply goes without saying now that any movie that involves Crispin Glover is always benefited thereby. He is blacklisted from Hollywood for daring to speak out against certain questionable elements therein and if they have learned anything through the years they should show it by giving the man his due respect. I agree with Crispin's views about the mainstream movie world, however who could deny the sheer pleasure it would be to see him as the Joker in an excellent Batman film?

If not The Joker, I believe he would make a better Riddler than Jim Carrey's version.

I support Crispin to be the Next Joker 100%

I agree, he'd be a fabulous Joker!
