When will he get another leading role?

I mean a more popular or serious one. I like him as Willard, and Layne from River's Edge was impressive. It seems like there was always a blockbuster appearance preceding a leading role. For instance, George Mcfly in Back to the Future, and Creepy Thin Man in Charlie's Angels. And then we got Stayne in Alice in Wonderland, which was released in 2010. Hey, I know he is busy doing his own work in his château in Czech Republic. Maybe he would run out of money again...and someone please hire him!

Maybe it just one of my unrealistic dreams, though. (Sigh) I've been waiting for 10 years.

Yes I agree, I love him, & can watch him in anything. Though I'm not sure I can see him wanting to be in something hugely commercial, as a leading man. He's much more interesting & unusual for that!

I've been wanting him to take on the role of a Batman villain forever. Specifically Joker for obvious reasons, but Riddler or Ventriloquist would be an interesting fit as well.

I absolutely loved him in Willard, specifically that moment when he walks into his bosses office... The look on his face when he says "Look at all the rats".
