Seriously. A few years ago, I saw him on Letterman & it was one of the most uncomfortable interviews to watch.

He's sexy. I remember being about ten when I first saw River's Edge. I fell in love with him immediately. I had already seen Back to the Future, of course, but ten was when I started thinking about boys, and man...Crispin Glover, River Pheonix and Christian Slater were my trifecta.
I just wish he would play bigger parts. It's such a tease seeing him for such a brief period in the films he does.
There's nothing wrong with being eccentric. It's far better than being the same as everyone else. It makes him interesting and unique.

shareTotally agree. He is a babe. Shame that he only seems to appear in big movies every handful of years - I suppose he's been doing that for 25 years so he's still got his name out.
But that appearance was weird. I hate Letterman, but I went off him for a while after seeing that.
