According to Crispin, this is incorrect info being spread by Bob Gale. Who's telling the truth? You decide. I happen to believe Crispin after listening to his explanation on the Nerdist podcast.
shareIt depends on what the actual figure (and anything else) was that he demanded. Once we know that we can judge whether he was being reasonable or a tool.
Bear in mind his dad is actor Bruce ‘Mr Wint’ Glover, so he was likely a spoiled rich thesp kid at the time... it’s not looking good for ‘Crispin’.

I have listened to him and his interviews lately and being that now he may have cooled off a bit with his attitude I can see 30 years ago he was probably a total dick to deal with. It was a comedy not some artsy film. You go to work and do your job, I'm pretty sure they knew what they were doing when filming BTTF and didnt need some punk telling them what great ideas he had. Also they were reshooting because of stoltz not working out, then having to shoot all night because of Fox's schedule. They probably wanted to just film and get done. Just look back in the day when Glover almost kicked Letterman in the face, he went back on the show years later much more civilized.
