I am not sure. When I met her, I found out she takes rebif and that medication is more than once a week. It could be but it is hard to tell. I have heard some meds make you gain weight but I am really not certain. Just know that she is a warm, friendly person who does not allow her disease to get her down.

Teri Garr has suffered from multiple schlerosis since the 80's I believe---that is the reason for the "treatment" that others have discussed.

i just read this tonight and was surprised. i've always loved her acting, and always thought she was a beautiful woman. i loved her in MR MOM and MOM & DAD SAVE THE WORLD.. and just watched YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. she was such a cutie.

I have MS. And I did gain weight when I was having to do the steroids. Also, I found out that the Rebif can cause problems with your thyroid. That happened with me, and I am now off of the Rebif.

I've lost weight since I went off that drug.

I think I read that it was due to the steriods. My late husband had the same results when he took them for his brain tumor.
