shareIt's been a few years since I've seen posts from that guy (I assume they were from a guy), but I mainly remember him from the Shirley MacLaine board. I don't remember the specifics, but they were very long manifestos about ... well, something, the kind of rants you'd expect from an obsessive and possibly dangerous fan. As I recall, he was writing from a library somewhere and would describe his surroundings. He'd create new threads frequently and respond to them often to keep them active.
There are indeed a lot of disturbing individuals on the Internet in general and this site in particular. Maybe I just notice it more here because this is where I spend most of my online time. Certain stars and films seem to inspire those individuals more. I could see it for Shirley MacLaine, but not as much for Teri Garr.
