Sound like an interesting script. Who wrote it? I wish Andy Garcia will sign on. I have been waiting for this for so long.

I have not heard anything about this. I am actually interested. Normally I would not be open to another sequel, but the third one was so bad that it would be great if they could put in another top notch chapter to make up for the previous effort.

It would be nice to see Andy in a lead role in a higher profile film again.

Nevermind. It seems like GF IV is off. I read in an interview with Francis Ford Coppola that he was interested in doing part IV and that he would do it as a favor to Puzo. Apparently Puzo's health was deteriorating and he wanted to make sure that he left his family with enough money. Coppola presented the idea to the studio, told them he would work for nothing, and all they would have to do is pay Puzo $1 million for his screenplay and that he would help Puzo. The studio passed.

Too bad. I would've liked to have seen them make up for the last entry. It would've been nice seeing Garcia reprise his role as a Corleone.

unbelievable. Whatever studio passed has very bad judgement. Maybe already making sex and the city 3.

I really think that hey should leave this franchise alone, all 3 movies are great and sealed.

I disagree with those who say that Godfather 3 was a bad movie, I think that it is a great movie, admitedely not as good as the other 2 and the weakest one in the trilogy, but considering what the other 2 achieved, it was hard to maintain the standard, specially after so many years passed for it was made.

But nonetheless, that doesn't change the fact that while the first 2 movies were superb, the third one is simply great and far from being bad.

A 4th movie would be too much pushing, specially if Coppola wont be behind it and without Puzo in the script.

Pity that Hollywood doesn't know when to retreat with dignity.

Life is precious, and it’s our own - not any god’s.
