Why were all her scenes deleted from Michael Clayton?
As reported on the IMDB trivia page. She's a great actress, terrific in Pride. Why the snub? It would have been a great comeback for her.
shareI read an interview with George Clooney where he said that they decided it would be better for the character of Michael Clayton if he were truly 'alone;' in other words, no love interest. So unfortunately they had to cut Jennifer Ehle's scenes.
I saw Jennifer on the London stage in 2000 in Tom Stoppard's "The Real Thing." She was excellent!
