Bartender in Adjustment Bureau

When I saw her as the bartender, I thought she was going to have a good part, but she was only in two very brief scenes with hardly any lines. It was just a bit part, which was weird for an established and well known actress.

Maybe she's friends with the director or something... but I thought her role would be bigger too.

when the team says david has probably met the chairman before, harry says him or HER and i thought maybe it was her jaja i don´t know... could be!

She and Matt Damon are the same age - why didn't they write the co-starring part for her? I don't like this pattern of Ehle playing parts that are meant to be either much older and/or not the sexually appealing leading lady.

For instance, why was she aged to play Logue's wife in The King's Speech? That should have been Bonhan-Carter. Even physically, Ehle would suit better the part of Elizabeth as she can more naturally carry an ample figure than bird-like Bonham-Carter.

Geez, you have to wonder how good a job her agent is doing.

Yeah I came on here to comment on that. I just watched the movie and was like... 'Jennifer Ehle?'. I wonder why she took such a small part?

Same here! She even got some lines which wouldn't have been necessary for the role. Really weird.
