Ehle has been cast as Catelyn Stark, one of the lead roles in the pilot for HBO's fantasy series "Game of Thrones" based on George R. R. Martin's series "A Song of Ice & Fire."

Was there any reason given why this didn't work out? The actress playing the role is awful in my opinion.
