seriously, did his parents just make it up? I know i have never heard of anyone named Macauley.

I think Its Scottish or Irish.

He and his brothers and sisters all have Irish names.

I read an article that he was named after Thomas Macaulay, who was an explorer, I think

I know someone with that name, but then again I'm from the UK and it's quite popular over here; the name's possibly goes back to Irish backgrounds.

"fagish"? Geography has not always been my strong point, but is there a country, culture or something that has been defined as "Fagish"? Oh, wait...maybe it's a homophobic thing (just found the definition on Urban Dictionary dot com). If so...how is that name, or any name for that matter, "fagish"? "WideOpenSpace" can be interpreted many ways...some "fagish". Just saying.
