33 years old playing a high school student in Grease
C'mon now Hollywood. She even looked way too old to be a high school student in that movie.

shareThat was big in the 70's-80's. Every slasher movie in that time period has high school characters that are obviously in their late 20''s or 30's. It's hilarious to me when I watch them now 😂 But yeah this movie was ridiculous with that, lol. Still enjoyable to me though.
shareRachel McAdams was 25 in Mean Girls. I understand that but 33 years old is really pushing it.
shareI agree. But you do have to admit that people nowadays look much, much younger than their ages. Stacey Dash was 28 when she played Dionne in Clueless and Shirley Henderson was 35 when she played 14 year old Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter movies! 😲

And she looked 43.
I thought she was a grown ass woman just hanging out with the high school kids. Like she had already graduated from high school but didn't have a life.
shareActually, its very common for older actors to portray teenagers or children in movies, simply because of the strict laws that have to be adhered to for minors on film sets.

That doesn't explain a 33 year old woman playing a high school student, instead of an 18 or 19 year old or even a young looking 20 something.
It is odd to see and the labor laws issue would make sense if they were actually using actors that were under the age of 18. I wonder what other reasons they have for choosing 25-30 year old actors instead of 18 and 19 year olds? I mean other than wanting big name and well known actors.
