Happy Birthday!

i remember first seeing Charles Bronson in the Dirty Dozen as a kid and though he looked and sounded cool as hell. From then I tried to watch as many as I could, then we got a VHS player and I would go to my local VHS rental shop and see what new movies of his cam out. I never saw Death Wish #1 because it was banned here in the UK but did see Death Wish 3 and loved it,then it was the Machanic and as many as I could get my hands on. I finally got a copy of the whole Death Wish series on DVD and lots of his other work too. It was a very sad day the day we lost him but today is about remembering him and I will do by watching my favourite movies.

Here's a salute to Charles on what would have been his 94th Birthday.

It's astounding to think he's actually been gone 12 years
this past August & hi wife Jill Ireland 25 years this past May.

In a spooky & unintended coincidence ,on Nov. 2nd I watched "Once Upon A
time In The west" for the very first time ever, on DVD fro my local library.

This morning (just after 12am sometime) I watched the extras
from the film. I had no idea I was watching it on his birthdate.

What a great role for him that finally broke him through to a larger audience.

P.S. - Gabriele Ferzetti (who played
"Morton" the robber baron)turned 90 this past spring.
