Romance Movies?
He was quite smitten by and courted assault rifles by the score in Patriot Games.
The 1990's British TV series Sharpe was an action/adventure show with plenty of romance. It's kind of cheesy, but good fun & chock full of great actors. Sean is wonderful playing a tough enlisted man who was promoted from the ranks to an officer. He wins every fight & gets every girl. Rough & ready with a heart of gold, he's very sexy in this one. (PBS revived this show about 15 years later, but those episodes aren't nearly as good, imho.)
