What are your top five Ellen Barkin movies?

My first choice would be The Big Easy. My second choice would be Sea of Love. My third choice would be Clinton and Nadine with Andy Garcia. My fouth choice would be Diner followed by Siesta! She is a great actress! She has such a great acting range! She's great at playing tough, strong no nonsense women but yet she's not afraid to show her femininity and vulnerability! She has such warmth and is so open and honest and straight forward and down to earth when she's being interviewed on talk shows! She is one of my favorite actresses!

Oh, The Big Easy is a MUST SEE if you like Ellen Barkin. Great movie!

The cool thing about EB is her unconventional sexiness. That nose, those eyes, and that fantastic crooked smile. She's definitely smokin'.

Check out The Big Easy, asap!

Into the West is her best movie. Easily.. It's a pity not many people outside Ireland have seen it.

I haven't seen all her movies, but I did think she was TERRIFIC in "Sea of Love" and liked her as the sexy aunt in "Desert Bloom." (think that's the name of it)She is a very sexy over 50 lady.

1. Palindromes - I'm a big Todd Solondz fan and Barkin was outstanding as the monstrous, self-righteous bourgeois mother who forces her 13-year-old daughter to get an abortion

2. The Big Easy - She was wonderfully sexy as the repressed district attorney Anne Osbourne and had such a steamy chemistry with lucky Dennis Quaid

3. Sea of Love - Again, she struck sparks with Al Pacino in an intense, seductive and menacing performance as the mystery woman who may or may not be the personal ads killer

4. This Boy's Life - A heartbreaking performance as the working-class single mother who gets more than she bargained for when she marries abusive maniac Robert De Niro

5. Johnny Handsome - She totally nailed the role of a sadistic, sneering, double-crossing, white-trash villainess in black leather. How could you not love her?
