Ummm... over 15 people came forward and accused him, and he is also facing felony charges for sexual assault. That doesn't sound like just a one off misunderstanding. Even in high profile cases police don't generally go forth with these cases if there isn't much of a chance of success in court.

FWIW, the alleged assault turned out to be verbal, not physical. It was said that he lashed out verbally because his mother insulted his wife. The criminal matter was dropped for insufficient evidence, anyway.
LOL, formal legal charges for verbal assault... If this was a thing where I live, then growing up I could have pressed verbal assault charges against my own family thousands of times for all the constant trashy verbal abuse that I put up with every single rotten day. And if I could have been awarded monetary damages, well then I would be filthy, stinking rich and wouldn't have to work for a living.
