Feel sad for the guy right now

For the record, I'm not really an Affleck fan. I've always kind of felt that he and (to a lesser degree) Matt Damon were both a couple of moderately talented actors who got some good breaks early. Regardless of my personal opinion, I feel sad for the guy right now and sincerely wish him a speedy recovery.
Better things are ahead. He's had a brutal 2 years of it, professionally and personally but I think he's a decent person and will bounce back. Here's hoping so!

I do wish him well, but I can't say I pity him. Nobody's made a mess of Ben Affleck's life but Ben Affleck.

Well, that and the idiots who've been making those awful DCEU films. Dealing with them must be a trial.

They were pretty bad movies. Poor Ben. He'd gotten past his Daredevil, Jersey Girl and Gigly days, won acclaim for screenplays and directing, seemed poised for bigger things and then got cast as Batman in Snyder films. I'm betting he and Zach don't hang out these days.

At various times over the last few years I heard rumors that the studio was hoping that Affleck would write and direct some of the DCEU films. First as a writer/director of his in sequels, then as the guy who might save them from the disaster that S yder created.

Obviously none if that happened, he's out of the project and into rehab. And while I don't blame his issues on that, because lots of people go through shitshows at work without developing substance abuse issues... but it can't have been fun and definitely involved dealing with dangerous levels if stupidity.

This should had been settled a year ago. But better late than never. I liked his Batman better than most. But the man does have to get his life in order.

He is a complete idiot. Ever since I saw him "debate" Bill Maher on Islam, I lost the last bit of respect for this bastard. He is complete fake, he parrots what the mainstream Hollywood leftist crowd wants to hear and has no spine whatsoever.

I can respect different opinions.
I cannot respect NPCs who are but empty shells in the shape of a human being. Especially not if they act as if they are above others...
