I remember way back when (2000 - 2007) there was always the rumor that Ben wore a hairpiece and that he was bald, but after seeing a slew of films he was in during that time it looks like he just wore an extension piece not a replacement piece. It's no different than when actresses use extensions. I don't know why I'm top posting about this, so take if or leave it.

A hair extension would just be longer hair, which is what happens for a lot of roles I would imagine. Always funny when to make an actor look younger, they do this. Long hair = younger days I suppose.
