Sad that her mother was apparently such a slut that the paternity is difficult to nail down... it's not Liv's fault though.
I think Rundgren is her dad. She looks more like Rundgren than Tyler. Why her mom decided to lay it at Tyler's feet, who knows. I'd be curious if there was ever a paternity test.

In 1976 Buell became pregnant from her brief relationship with Steven Tyler. Buell initially named the daughter Liv Rundgren and claimed Rundgren was the biological father to protect the child from Tyler's drug addiction. Rundgren put his heart and soul into the "white lie". At age nine Liv was made aware that she is Tyler's biological daughter.
According to Liv Tyler "... Todd basically decided when I was born that I needed a father so he signed my birth certificate. He knew that there was a chance that I might not be his but ..." Mia and liv look a lot alike but Mia looks like Tyler..I see him in her eye and mouth area. Mia also favors Stevens other daughter and they both have gummy smiles.
Liv has rundgren long face, same lips, same overbite, even eye shape. Looking at young pics of rundgren you can see liv a lot.
I guess she could be Stevens, but until proven, I believe she is rundgren a daughter
She looks more like Todd Rundgren to me as well. Has it ever been genetically confirmed that she's Steven's daughter? I know it was publicly declared back in the '90s, but did they have paternity testing done to confirm it? I've always wondered this.
shareTodd Rundgren may or may not be her father but I say Todd is a stand-up guy to go along with this situation. I was wondering if Liv and Rundgren still had a relationship because I'm always seeing Liv with Steve as if she has nothing to do with Todd that we can see. I wonder if it bothers him seeing the two of them act close.

I absolutely believe Rundgren is her biological father until proven otherwise. They both have long faces, similar eye shapes and the same mouth and overbite. Look at photos of a young Todd Rundgren, it's like looking at a male version of Liv Tyler.
Her groupie mother probably thought Steven Tyler was more famous and rich and said Liv was his for the money.
I would hope paternity tests have been done to prove it, but I also think either way Rundgren was a great person to step in and be her dad.
