Personally, I’d say it depends on what the movie is about, and which female character is likely to be featured in this way. Contrary to popular belief, not all foot enthusiasts like what Tarantino does or how he does it. He seems to have terrible taste in women, and he likes dirty raunchy shots that are not in the least bit subtle.
To compare, look at how well Damian Chazelle presented Emma Stone barefoot three or four times in La La Land. She played a pretty pure character, got to dance, and most importantly he didn’t give away the whole ballgame as Tarantino does. He surprised us, and left us wanting more.
Tarantino is a sex fiend on a power trip.
BUT YOU WOULD HAVE TO WATCH LA LA LAND...HARD PASS.

Great choice, but I don’t want her spoiled. QT doesn’t actually know what he’s doing… I actually think he’s just riding the wave of speculation about his sexual quirks, and the truth be damned. Whatever’s good for the box office.
He needs to bring back a much older actress like Sally Field to resurrect their career.
