Charlie Sheen’s dark history of alleged disturbing porn use, drug addiction and weird beliefs
Beyond the tabloid stories about his fondness for a night with a sex worker, allegations against the star include that he was an abusive, threatening and dismissive husband who watched disturbing pornography.share
He’s also been accused of having strange beliefs about vaccinations, and making antisemitic statements. Perhaps most bizarrely, Sheen’s also been accused of lying about being Jewish to get out of being called racist.
Sheen was thrown into global headlines this week after he was sensationally named as an alleged sexual abuser of former child star Corey Haim.
The Two And A Half Men star has vehemently denied the claims that were levelled at him by Haim’s friend, Corey Feldman.
Sheen’s publicist this week called Feldman’s claims “sick, twisted and outlandish” and urged people to look into alternative statements, like those made by Corey’s sister Judy Haim, who has defended Sheen.
Actress and model Denise Richards filed for divorce from Sheen in March of 2005, when she was pregnant with their second child, Lola. In the divorce papers, as reported by The Sun, she describes it as “a very difficult decision for me”.
Before filing for divorce she claimed she’d filed for restraining orders which had been signed but not filed in a court. She said she’d been “repeatedly” talked out of filing formal restraints by Sheen who feared harm to his career.
She referred to Sheen’s behaviour as “abusive and threatening” and said she felt she had to “stop the cycle of abuse towards me and our children and his continued threats of violence and statements that he is going to kill me”, according to court documents.
Richards went on to claim she didn’t think Sheen was capable of looking after their children without professional monitoring, because she felt he was “unstable and irrational”.
Richards claimed the problems in their marriage started on their honeymoon, when Sheen, who was in recovery and attended Alcoholics Anonymous, began gambling heavily and taking Xanax.
He allegedly asked Richards to keep the Xanax a secret, saying it was considered drugs in his AA program. She said he began experiencing mood swings around his gambling results, and she said he started to “scream obscenities” at her after being set off by small things.
Richards also claimed after taking their first child to be immunised, she was contacted by Sheen, and told she had “poisoned” their daughter.
During the course of her pregnancy, Richards alleged Sheen’s use of prescription medication had escalated and he was taking multiple benzodiazepines and a type of opioid called Norco.
