One Thing I Still Respect about the Guy

He hasn't made a good movie in years, his ability as an actor and martial artist are both pretty poor and he's a huge Putin loving prick in real life. That being said I do respect the fact that Seagal clearly hasn't felt the need to have plastic surgery the way most celebs do as they get older and has let himself age naturally. For that I still have a small shred of respect for the man

reply

Lol he has made NO good movies

reply

Under Siege and Executive Decision are good.

reply

Yep, Under Siege is an action classic. He was hardly in ED, but he had a cool part in it.

reply

Out for Justice.

he did quite alot of surgery during the 80's. Changed his nose, fixed his hairline etc.

Was his hairline 'fixed' by surgery? Or just stick-ons, like Burt Reynolds?

Carpe Noctem!

reply

Actually, he is a highly skilled and respected martial artist.
And if you think his acting is bad, you need to watch Gutshot Straight. If presented with the right material, Steven can shine.

I respect his appetite.

reply

that thing on his head is far from natural.

reply

One thing I respect is that he is a bit smarter than Stallone

I'm gonna show you something beautiful everyone screaming for mercy

reply

Hey, Asshole: Quick, name me a movie for that SEGAL WROTE FOR HIMSELF, that turned him into an international star overnight.

Hell, just give me evidence that Segal can read and write.

reply

The name is Seagal.

reply

It's Seagul.

reply

It's actually Seagull

reply

How do you figure that? I don't like Stallone's stuff any better than Segal,
but S.S's ... but Stallone is far more articulate and successful. I think more
people like Stallone ... he has a brain, and some culture even if he makes
movies for dolts.

reply

He also made Rocky and Creed, which a lot of people would reasonably argue are legitimately good films. Heck, even the *first* Rambo film had half a brain (irrespective of the direction in which the series devolved).

reply

Copland also wasn‘t a “movie for dolts.”
